Roman is a senior from Rochester, NY studying Environmental Science & Economics. He is interested in helping businesses unlock the keys to growth, investing in the future, and has worked in VC for Impellent Ventures. Roman is also a passionate entrepreneur himself—founding and scaling a jewelry venture as well as a recruiting agency. Beyond work, he enjoys playing soccer, guitar, and hiking.
Serena is a senior from San Francisco studying Behavioral Decision Sciences and International & Public Affairs. A former founder herself, she loves talking to entrepreneurs, data-driven storytelling, and using investment to create social impact. Much of her experience focuses on working with early-stage startups, scouting for firms, and increasing representation in the VC space. Outside of work, you’ll likely find her sipping matcha, watching basketball, or exploring new food scenes.
Taari is a junior from Geneva, Switzerland with a strong passion for entrepreneurship and technology. He holds a special interest in semiconductors, AI, EdTech, and the role of startups in improving the world. At Brown, Taari also helps run Innovation Dojo, Brown's startup incubator. Previously, he has worked at Alatus Capital and CERN, and was working at semiconductor startup Finwave this summer. In his free time, you can probably find him DJing, grabbing matcha from Ceremony, ranking new restaurants on Beli, or reading History books.
Selena is a senior from the Bay Area concentrating in Applied Math-Economics and Archaeology. Having founded a business in the past, she loves being surrounded by the grit and passion of those in the entrepreneurship world. In her free time, Selena enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and binging terrible reality TV shows.
Jack is a junior from a small town in Montana concentrating in Computer Science and Economics with a particular interest in enterprise software. In high school, he founded a small app development business to fill an untapped niche in rural areas, and he has participated in business-focused clubs like Innovation Dojo on campus. He is also currently the Co-Director of Education for the Brown Private Equity Club. In his free time, you can find him golfing, snowboarding, and attempting to play the piano.
Lillian is a senior from NYC concentrating in Business Economics. She has experience in bioacoustics research and in investment analysis at single-family offices, fueling her passion for sustainability and tech investing. On campus, she’s a Research Committee Analyst at Brown Investment Group, Finance Associate at The Brown Daily Herald, and Marketing Co-Chair for the Economics DUG. In her free time, she enjoys running and exploring Providence’s restaurant scene.
Jaden Anselmo is a senior at Brown University from Los Angeles, concentrating in Business Economics and International & Public Affairs. He's completed internships at CapsLock, a software platform streamlining fundraising for VC firms, and Halogen Ventures, an LA-based venture capital firm investing in women-led startups. Next summer, he's joining Brighton Park Capital in NY as a Growth Equity Summer Analyst. Outside of work, you can find Jaden freezing while surfing in Narraganset, passionately watching Arsenal matches, or laying on the main green.
Daniel is a senior from the Bay Area concentrating in Computational Neuroscience and Biology. He has a keen interest in biotechnology, therapeutics discovery, as well as consumer investing. Daniel is also a huge soccer fanatic and is part of the club soccer team at Brown. For leisure, you can find him vibing to classical music and indulging in a cup (or two) of coffee at Coffee Exchange.
Eason is a junior at Brown University studying Economics and IAPA. He is interested in the business of restaurants and CPGs. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, concocting new sauces for dumplings, and playing ping pong with friends.
Alicia is a junior from Sharon, Massachusetts concentrating in Computer Science. She is primarily interested in the applications of tech in renewable energy generation and distribution. Aside from VWV, she's on the Advisory Committee on University Resources Management (ACURM) and she's a part of the Socially Responsible Investment Fund (SRIF) on campus. In her free time, you can find Alicia running/biking around Providence, exploring coffee spots, and photosynthesizing on the main green.
Claire is a junior from the Bay Area studying Applied Math and Computer Science. She's interested in the intersections between technology, finance, and design. At Brown, she's also involved in Hack@Brown, Women in CS, & BrUMO, and in her free time, she enjoys frequenting boba shops, 3D modeling, and traveling!
Bailing is a junior from Seattle concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. As the President of his high school math club, Bailing led the organization of an applied math contest for local middle school students, and at Brown, he is leading the Organizers Team of the Brown University Math Olympiad (BrUMO) to host Brown’s first-ever math competition for high school students. Bailing also participates in Rubik’s Cube speedsolving competitions, having held 3 Canadian national records and a career-high world rank of 22. In his free time, Bailing enjoys playing tennis with his friends or practicing piano at Lindemann and Steinert.
Max is passionate about technology, finance, and startups, inspired by a close family friend who’s a leading tech investor. At Brown, he worked as a project analyst at Brown Consulting Club (and is now on the Corporate Relations Committee) and is a member of the Finance Club’s banking cohort. He’s previously worked at Credo, a semiconductor startup, and more recently SaaS Ventures, a small tech VC firm, this past summer. In his free time, Max enjoys basketball, spikeball, DJing, golfing, and coaching speech and debate for his high school.
Gloria is a senior from a small town in Washington studying International and Public Affairs and Behavioral Decisions Science. She is interested in the intersection of tech, design, and social impact in entrepreneurship. Before coming to Brown, she worked in Paris, France for a South Korean travel tech startup while on a gap year. At Brown, Gloria has been part of Innovation Dojo, the Brown Entrepreneurship Program, and she has interned with the New England Medical Innovation Center in Providence. Outside of VWV, you’ll find Gloria practicing aerial acrobatics, playing covers on guitar, and biking around Providence to all the best coffee shops!
Alexa Moses is a senior from New York concentrating in Classics and Economics. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, and has founded three organizations prior to her time at Brown. On campus, she is a Co-Vice President of the Brown Entrepreneurship Program, and is involved with the Bruno Finance Society and Women in Business. Alexa spent her freshman summer interning for a Blockchain Platform. In her free time, you can find her working at a coffee shop, reading a 20th century classic, or walking to explore somewhere new.
Rita is a junior from Minnesota concentrating in Applied Mathematics–Economics, working across product, strategy and investing. She is a launch product manager at Marriage Pact, backed by Bain Capital Ventures, and spent the summer as a strategy intern at FreshX. At Brown, she leads fundamental investing for the Brown Healthcare Investment Group and has served as a residential coordinator for the First-Year Experience. Rita is also vice-president of Brown China Care, event chair for Women in Science and Engineering, and dances with Moli.
Eduardo is a sophomore from Miami, concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Computational Neuroscience and working at the seam between the two. He researches at the Carney Institute for Brain Science in the Serre Lab, and has been a macro analyst at MKP Capital Management covering, in his own description, everything between electrons and LLMs. His earlier work includes machine learning for credit analysis at Liquitech and venture capital at WOOD & Company, looking at AI, blockchain and hardware. A recent project of his tested whether frontier vision-language models genuinely possess visual perspective taking.
Erim is a sophomore concentrating in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, and spends most of the week building things. He owns the hardware for the Tripathi Laboratory's spatial-genomics instrumentation, leads the software behind a GDP modelling platform at Brown's Global Linkages Lab, and writes internal tooling for the venture firm Multifaceted Capital. Before Brown he co-founded and ran Unpuzzled Robotics, a nonprofit teaching robotics to children in affordable-housing after-school programmes, and he holds a patent on a toroidal drone propeller. Erim also swims with Brown Club Swimming.
JP is a sophomore from the Washington, D.C. area who came to venture from the quantitative side of markets. Alongside Van Wickle Ventures, he is a quantitative analyst at Paragon Global Investments and a research analyst with the Brown Investment Group. This past summer he worked as an engineering intern at LGND, one of the fund's own portfolio companies, which meant seeing a company from the inside having first read it from the outside.
Julie is a sophomore from Los Angeles who works across consulting, banking and venture. She is a consulting analyst with the Global Research and Consulting Group and spent the summer as an investment banking intern at Imperial Capital. At Brown she sits on the media team for the Brown Entrepreneurship Program, and is involved with the Brown Finance Club, the Brown Healthcare Investment Group, Women in Business and The Post Magazine.
Mira is a junior who co-founded YouSummarise, an online platform that turns long videos into accessible summaries for students using embedded AI. At Brown she is on the education team for the Brown Entrepreneurship Program, was selected for Innovation Dojo in a cohort of nineteen, and organises with the Sunrise club. She was one of the founding members of the Concordia choir, which performs classical repertoire in concert, and has worked as a freelance photographer since 2022.
Bella is a sophomore from Chicago concentrating in Economics and Behavioral Decision Sciences. She co-founded Living Outside, and at Brown analyses for the Brown Derivatives Investment Group while consulting with both the Brown Technology Consulting Group and 180 Degrees Consulting. She is co-vice-president of the Women's Health Advocacy Group, treasurer of Camp Kesem, and involved with Scholars of Finance, Model United Nations and Effective Altruism. Outside all of that, Bella dances with the Fusion and Synergy dance companies.
Max is a sophomore from Singapore who arrived at Brown by way of the Singapore Armed Forces, where he served as a lieutenant and platoon commander of thirty-two men trained in heliborne and amphibious operations, and was awarded the Sword of Honour. He now heads go-to-market and customer success at Avoice, a Y Combinator company automating documentation and spec-writing for architects. Before university Max also acted professionally, playing Kurt Kelly in Pangdemonium's production of Heathers: The Musical.
