Bailing is a sophomore from Seattle concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. As the President of his high school math club, Bailing led the organization of an applied math contest for local middle school students, and at Brown, he is leading the Organizers Team of the Brown University Math Olympiad (BrUMO) to host Brown’s first-ever math competition for high school students. Bailing also participates in Rubik’s Cube speedsolving competitions, having held 3 Canadian national records and a career-high world rank of 22. In his free time, Bailing enjoys playing tennis with his friends or practicing piano at Lindemann and Steinert.
