Associate
Imani Stewart is a third year Resumed Undergraduate Education (RUE) student who intends on concentrating in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Prior to her studies at Brown University, Imani worked in both the pharmacy and medical cannabis industries, gaining valuable insight into hospital systems as well as production facilities. Imani’s medical cannabis experience includes laboratory technician work as well as working in management, with both positions occurring in fast-paced startups. During her first semester at Brown, Imani participated in Innovation Dojo, a semester-long workshop and startup accelerator for Brown and RISD students which concludes with a VC pitch wherein her team took second place, exhibited her artwork in the Multimedia Labs at Brown, and was an ambassador for the Faith in the Vaccine program, where she volunteered at multiple COVID-19 vaccine clinics across Rhode Island and developed an informative curriculum for children.
